Sony’s latest point-and-shoot, the Cyber-shot TX5, is packed with all the features one could hope to find in a digital camera, though you might not have guessed it from the price tag. HD video, Panorama Mode, touchscreen LCD and SteadyShot stabilization are all nice features, but they aren’t what impress me the most about this camera. That would be the fact that aside from the sleek design factor, this thing isn’t wimpy. The casing is not only dustproof, but it’s waterproof up to 10 feet and shockproof up to 5 feet. At $350, that’s a damn good deal.
Available now from Sony.
