The life and work of iconic American illustrator, Normal Rockwell, served as inspiration for Fall 2013′s GANT by Michael Bastian Collection. Feeding off of Rockwell’s themes of the idealized American experience, Bastian recreated the feeling for the forthcoming collection with pieces that reflect the uniforms, workwear, and everyday garb worn by Rockwell’s subjects. The resulting collection took shape by capturing the best of modern American style, while highlighting utilitarian mid-century simplicity. Leather bomber jackets, slim cargo pants, paisley oxford shirts, crew knits, and checked flannel shirts serve as the heart of the collection, which will arrive at GANT locations and select retailers later this year.
