Converse has collaborated with Woolrich outdoor clothing company to cook up a new take on the classic Chuck Taylor for this Winter season. Though we usually see Chucks in simple two-tone colorways, we’ve also seen the shoe covered in flames, smiley faces, band-aids and endless other patterns that for lack of a better term, sucked. Patterns don’t have to be disastrous though, as you can see with these particular pairs. Instead of the usual canvas construction on the upper, we get a blue/black flannel pattern as well as a red/black flannel pattern. Another major change to the shoe is the use of black rubber on the toe cap, instead of the usual white. Added wax on the laces should ensure that they last through the rough Winter weather. Both pairs are available now at Caliroots.
