Nike recently released these Premium Dunk His, which definitely look like they were made for the coming winter weather. The shoe is almost entirely black, except for the white midsole and clear outsole, which give the shoe some much needed contrast. All black sneakers are usually extremely boring and uninspired, so the departure from black on the sole is definitely this pairs saving grace. The upper is all leather, with a nubuck Swoosh overlaid. The defining characteristic of this particular Dunk is the wool ankle panel, which really drives home that winter look. Finishing things off are the words “Athletics North” stitched on the tongue of the shoe. They are available now at select Nike accounts and should continue to roll out as we get deeper into October.
