You've got to have some serious patience and a crazy meticulous eye to be able to concoct these three-dimensional structures using tapestry. Emma Sulzer takes approximately 40 hours to create one Tapestry Trainer. Each shoe can include up to 15 separate pieces and she uses materials such as wool, embroidery thread and metallic thread to reflect the tactile quality of the objects.
